Claudia's David Cassidy-FansiteFor all DC-Fans and those who want to be !!! My personal DC-StoryMy personal DC-Story !!! My name is Claudia, I am a 40 year old housewife. I am from Germany, but for the last six years I have been living in Sicily (Ct) together with my husband and three children. I love music more than anything else especially the music of the 60‘s, 70‘s and the early 80‘s. In search of my favourite music I found a great radio station (Radio Catania), specialized on this kind of music. One day – I couldn’t believe my ears – they played „Daydreamer“. I was beside myself with joy since I haven’t heard anything of my first love David Cassidy, I had almost forgotten him!! Immediatly I called the radio station, eager to listen to more David Cassidy songs. Unfortunately they had only this one song. So I looked for information about him on the internet (I wonder why I didn’t conceive that idea much earlier!) and was surprised to find so many photos, videos, songs and fansites where fans report about their great experiences (THANK YOU!). I didn’t reckon he is still in business and is touring through the USA and England. All at once I started to download several photos and songs. My collections is growing from day to day! I was all exited!! At the age of 40 I am feeling like a teenager (to my family’s regret... ;-)) but I suppose most DC-fans feel this way. In October 2006 I finally found the courage to leave a message on New Dutch DC-Fanclub’s fansite, hoping to meet other German-speaking fans. There was an immediaty response from Jackie and an offer to become member of the club. I didn’t think twice, so I am a „Cassidymeiden“ now. I am very happy I got to know another German-speaking member. I am very happy we are staying in touch and thanks to her my collection is fast-growing! Of course it’s my greatest wish to see DC live on stage, to talk to him and PERHAPS to take a photo with him. I probably make too great demands, but THAT would be FANTASTIC!!! Hope I don’t have to wait too long for that day to come. Until then I have my Happy ( Day ) Dreams !!! LOL Thank you David‘ for bringing so much joy and emotions to our lives! And please – if you should ever read these lines – set our for an Italy and/or Germany tour. Your fans are waiting for you! Lots of love and kisses Claudia
January 25 DC-Story     Meine persönliche DC-Story !
 Mein Name ist Claudia , bin Deutsche und lebe seit 5 Jahren , mit meinem Mann und meinen drei Kindern auf Sizilien (CT). Ich liebe Musik, besonders die der 60er, 70er u. der Anfang 80er Jahre.
So habe ich , irgendwann - immer auf der Suche nach meiner Lieblingsmusik - einen Radiosender gefunden, der sich auf diese Art von Musik spezialisiert hat.
Eines Tages - ich traute meinen Ohren nicht - hörte ich auf diesem Sender DAYDREAMER und war TOTAL aus dem Häuschen, vor Freude. Wahnsinn !!!....nach über 20 Jahren wieder etwas von meiner ersten großen Liebe DAVID CASSIDY zu hören. (Hatte ich ihn doch schon so gut wie vergessen) Ich rief sofort bei "Radio Catania" an, um mich zu erkundigen, ob sie noch andere DC-Songs spielen könnten. Aber LEIDER hatten sie nur diesen einen Song .
Also machte ich mich im Internet auf die Suche nach David. (Frage mich warum ich nicht schon früher auf die Idee gekommen bin.)
Und ......was soll ich sagen ??? Ich war sowas von überrascht, soviel an DC-Material zu finden. Fotos, Videos, Fanseiten mit den tollsten Berichten von Fans, die DC live erleben durften und ihre Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse beschreiben.( DANKE, dafür!!! ) Artikel über DC, was er alles so in meiner Abwesenheit "getrieben " hat. Hab im Leben nicht damit gerechnet, dass er noch (wieder) im Geschäft ist und durch die USA und England tourt.
So war es natürlich wieder sofort um mich geschehen. Ich fing an mir sämtliche Fotos , Songs und Videos runterzuladen und es ist kein Ende in Sicht.
Mit 40, sich wieder wie ein Teenager zu fühlen - wer hätte das jemals gedacht ? ( zum Leid meiner Familie.....hihi)
Nach ein paar Monaten, habe ich dann endlich, auf einer holländische Fanseite (New Dutch DC-Fanclub)eine Nachricht hinterlassen. In der Hoffnung auf deutschsprachige Fans zu treffen. Ich habe auch promt Antwort von Jackie bekommen und sie bot mir eine Mitgliedschaft in ihrem Fanclub an. Da musste ich nicht lange überlegen und bin nun ein Cassidy Meiden (Mädchen).
Durch diese Mitgliedschaft habe ich dann auch Kontakt zu einem anderen deutschen Mitglied bekommen und bin sehr froh darüber, mich mit ihr auszutauschen. Dank Silvia ,ist meine DC-Sammlung schnell gewachsen.
Nun ist es natürlich mein größter Wunsch DC live zu sehen, zu hören , (zu sprechen )und vielleiiiiiicht ein Foto mit ihm machen zu können. Es ist wahrscheinlich ein bisschen viel verlangt ABER das wär doch das absolut GRÖßTE für mich !!! Hoffentlich muss ich auf diesen Tag nicht mehr allzu lange warten ! Doch bis dahin bleiben mir nur meine HAPPY (DAY) DREAMS !!!!!!!!!!!
"DANKE DAVID", dass du uns Fans soviel Freude, Emotionen und Spaß mit deiner Musik......bringst!!!
Also, David - wenn du das jemals lesen solltest - dann gib deinem Herzen einen Ruck und mach dich auf den Weg zu einer Italien- u./o. Deutschland-Tour. Deine Fans warten auf dich !!!
